  • Who is the traveler, who discovered Georgia, Shota Rustaveli, and ,, Adjarian khachapuri «

All You will agree, that traveling is a favorite hobby for everyone. But, there are people, for whom traveling is not just a hobby, it is a routine of daily life. As in the case, of our exclusive respondent. The American traveler and famous blogger traveled to 33 countries, among them, he discovered Georgia, he dedicated several interesting videos to Georgia. It was surprise for me, but Jake admits, that his love of ,,Adjarian khachapuri  » will bring him back to Georgia. Our positive respondent is Famous American traveler and blogger – Jake laszlo Schwartz. he tells us about his travels and, of course, about Georgia

*- hallo Jake 🙂 thanks for agreeing to the interviewed. Tell our listeners a little informacion about yourself. When did you realize, that traveling was more, than a hobby for you?

_ Since childhood, I knew I wanted to explore the world. Regular school just wasn’t for me, so after graduating high school, I chose travel as my true form of education.

*- wich was the first country, were you traveled ?

_When I was a kid my family and I went to Mexico, as it’s the most popular tourist destination for Americans. However my first solo travel was when I was 21, it was Myanmar (Burma). It was an important time for me as I was exploring myself, Buddhism, and spirituality. I stayed at many Buddhist temples learning meditation, how to feel less anxious and cultivate internal peace.

*- What criteria do you use, when choosing a country for travel ?

_ Friendly people. I really enjoy interacting with strangers despite language barriers. Actually, a language barrier makes it more fun trying to communicate. All you need is a little courage and creativity with the use of hand, gestures, and you can have the best conversations you’ve ever had. So, I enjoy when people will meet me halfway and are friendly.

*- As I know, you was in Georgia, you have a lot of interesting videos about Georgia. How did you discover Georgia and why did you decide to travel there?

_ You got to dig deep to discover gold. I don’t get too excited about visiting very popular tourist destinations. I chose Georgia because it’s not a very popular tourist destination for Americans. I didn’t know much about this country before I came here and now I know more about Georgia history than my own country.

*- What did you like most in Georgia, of course after,,Adjarian khachapuri » and,,khinkali »? ( we reminder, that ,, Adjarian Khachapuri is Georgian famous national food. Wich Made with Cheese, flour, butter and eggs ) Also whats your favorite moment, wich you had in Georgia?

_The absolute most amazing thing I have witnessed is the level of pride that even young Georgians have. When I was in Sachkhere hanging out with some of my followers, they were so excited to show me these huge biography books about Shota Rustaveli and Paolo Iashvili and there accomplishments. The feeling they had as they taught me about these Georgian figures is indescribable. So much passion and pride it made me really happy.

*- Was there anything in Georgia, wich you didn’t like as a tourist?

_ Of course, it’s the political climate. I want nothing more than Georgia’s people to be prosperous and to feel optimistic of their future.

*- How many countries was you traveled at latest?

    _ 33!

*- Is there any country, were you dream for traveling to?

    _ Mongolia!

*- wich country will be the next one, were you plan to travel to in near the future?

_ I’d like to get lost in Mongolia and rural China.

____* Thank you Jake for the interesting interview. I wish you much success and a happy Travel .
